Our History

BNP Paribas started its open architecture activities and manager research/recommendations in 1993. Since then, the group has been keen to develop this business. To complete this activity, the firm started implementing portfolio construction and active portfolio management for both single and multi asset class strategies in 1999.

Renamed FundQuest in 2005, the firm reinforced its fund selection process (Quantitative Analysis, Fund Selection and Risk Due Diligence) in early 2007.

In 2013, FundQuest became FundQuest Advisor (FQA) and has chosen to focus on manager and fund selection. FQA’s London branch was launched in the UK in November 2013.
FundQuest Advisor is regulated by the ACPR (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution) in France and is operating under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Temporary Permissions Regime in the UK.
